From the first episode of the short lived MTV series Rock Influences, about 4 songs from REM at the Capitol Th in Passaic NJ from June 1984, along with John Sebastion, Richie Havens, Roger McGuinn, and members of The Band and Youngbloods.
The opening set from the folk rock pioneers mentioned above was broadcast on PBS in 1986, which I also have available.
